A Little Bit of Love

A week late (thanks to the flower shop deciding a girl didn't need flowers on Valentine's Day), but exactly what I needed to help lift my spirits today. My favorite flowers from my tall dark drink of handsome.*

Hapy Lovers Day

Happy Valentine's Day to all my lovelies, and especially to my lover. I just love this Valentine from Kate Spade's BMINE e-Valentine collection - it reminds me of Stephen in so many ways.

V-Day Velvet

As I promised last week, here are more cupcake photos. I made these cupcakes for a friend celebrating Valentine's Day with her husband. She asked for Red Velvet cupcakes since it was one of her flavors in her wedding cake.

Look at that electric color! I borrowed a tip from Martha Stewart and used a TON of red food gel (like the kind you use for frosting). It's concentrated, so a little (or a 1/2 teaspoon) goes a long way.

Our Love Story

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and I'm planning Stephen's gift. This year I've decided to make it relatively inexpensive, so let's just say it involves one of his favorite things and this:
