But I took the leap and got this maxi dress during an Ann Taylor sale a few weeks ago, and you know what? I was wrong. So wrong. I feel like this dress makes me look like I've suddenly sprouted a few extra inches. Plus the chevron stripes are slimming. Everything about this dress is just right. And because everything was so right about this dress, I figured there was nothing better to wear for my first day in the city. And you know what? I got complimented on the T! Bonus!
Dress - Ann Taylor
Jacket - Swapped
Gladiator Sandals - Target
Necklace - JewelMint
Earrings - Shabby Apple
Ring - Kate Spade
Is there something you always thought you could never pull off, but then you take a risk and it realize it works brilliantly? I'll admit when I'm wrong, and in this case, I was really wrong. But, I've luckily realized the error of my ways can assure you that I'll be stocking up on maxi dresses moving forward.
Love the dress, it looks great on you!
ReplyDeleteLove this dress. I never thought I could pull off white pants. Maybe I can't. But I've deluded myself into thinking I can and now have two pairs.
ReplyDeleteLooks great and of course it would. Height shouldn't matter my dear. Wear what you love! This is so easy too. Just throw it on and you're all set.

Love, love that dress, especially on you! Maxi dresses are so flattering and easy to wear. And I predict chevron stripes are the next big thing.
